Overview
An EMG/EP system EMG6600B (Electromyography and Evoked Potential system) is a medical diagnostic device used to evaluate the electrical activity of muscles and the conduction of signals in nerves. Components
- Laptop/PC Interface: Runs specialized software to display and analyze recorded signals. The screen often shows muscle diagrams, nerve pathways, and test results.
- Signal Acquisition Unit: The hardware base (seen under the laptop) contains amplifiers, filters, and connectors for electrodes.
- Electrodes: Placed on the skin or inserted into muscles to detect electrical activity.
